So that we could make a weekend trip to Tulsa, we had to find somewhere for our boys to stay. And since we were leaving on a Thursday, the big boys would need to be picked up from school, then dropped of and picked up on Friday. This seemed like a lot to ask... but our Parental Petulance pals stepped up willingly and even kept them over night when we didn't ask them to. Ashley picked up Owen and took him to the library on Thursday before we left. He loves "crafts" as you well know. :)
After wearing their stocking hats, Owen and Knox had matching hair do's.
Cooper practiced his recorder at their house... hahaha. Marshall text us this video saying, "There's some sort of Pied Piper thing going on right now."!
Owen helped Marshall do some computer work that evening. Owen really likes Marshall.
Owen had a little trouble falling asleep, so they FaceTimed us just as we arrived in the Tulsa airport. Owen was fussing saying, "This is not my house" and seemed under the impression that I was just hanging out at home without him. So once we communicated the situation better, he was able to go to sleep. Right between his big brothers.
Grandma Pam took over for the weekend part... and her grandkids helped out.
Owen had a great time... while his ill brothers were napping. :(
We appreciate the help so much! It was great to know that our boys were in good hands. Hands that had to clean up my kid's puke... Thanks G'ma Pam!
