Kellar 1st & 2nd Grade Fine Arts Night

Miles' had his first official performance at school...  the Kellar Fine Arts Night.

As you may see, the 1st & 2nd event was Disney themed, the same as the 3rd & 4th Grade night was in the fall.

So there I was the night before, in my typical last minute freezer paper pattern and paint style, making a shirt.

Miles chose this design and was thrilled with the finished product.  Whew. :)

We got to the school, dropped the boys off with their groups and found a seat.  Owen read the program over carefully while we waited for the concert to start.

Soon, the kids filed in and it all began.

One of the songs Miles' class sang was Zuka Zama, from the Lion Guard tv show.  Miles did great, especially since he was so worried he'd have stage fright!  He knew he was going to be in the front row and wasn't super impressed with the idea.

Owen knew this one well, since Miles had been practicing at home.

The Music Club also performed at the end, so Cooper got in on this concert too.

They did a few songs from High School Musical, the same songs they did at the fall concert.

Then everyone ended with the Kellar Fight Song!  Fight songs are my favorite!  I get goose bumps and cry.  I guess I like loyalty and school pride.  Haha.  The crowd really got into this one, which made it fun.

Last, we got to view the kids' artwork in the hallway before picking them up from their classrooms.

Another successful Fine Arts Night at Kellar!
