On New Year's Day we said our goodbyes to Derek's family.
And hit the road toward below freezing temperatures and wind chill warnings.
We had a good trip, made decent time and enjoyed watching the huge full moon rise.
We saw more and more snow as we got closer to home. We were pretty excited to pull into our neighborhood and find snow packed streets.
...and lots of fluffy white stuff around our house!
Except for on our driveway, thanks to a neighbor!!
The boys wasted no time at all, once they helped unload the van, they dug right into legos!
And new toys!
What a great trip, wonderful time with family, and perfect celebrations of Jesus' birth.
