I mentioned that Cooper got to have a birthday party this year... honestly, I can't imagine doing this every year, whew! The prep was crazy. Ha. I did have lots of help though! :)
We also got stocked up on lots of 10th Birthday party essentials.
The morning of Cooper's birthday, also Groundhog Day, we watched Punxsutawney Phil emerge to see his shadow, meaning six more weeks of winter. Our local Groundhog, Gertie, also saw her shadow.
We're not worried about it, especially since Daddy came home from the gym with donuts in hand! (yes, there is irony in this, even if Daddy didn't partake. ha!)
Cooper opened cards and a few gifts over breakfast.
Then got ready for school, he was so excited to take birthday treats to his class!
(No homemade treats allowed. 😑)
When Coop got home from school, he had a few more gifts waiting for him.
G'ma Debbie and G'pa Dale sent a Minecraft hoodie.
...and a pair of LED shoes! He tried them out by dancing a little.

We did a little more party prep for he next day...
I used my classic freezer-paper-iron-on-paint-and-peel-off trick to make shirts for the boys to wear.

Then we went to Life Group that evening.
