Saturdays are basketball days now that the season has started. Cooper and Miles are both playing on the Christian Center leagues, the same organization they played baseball/t-ball with. They have a great emphasis on having fun, putting Christ first and incorporate memory verses into each practice. It's also only on Saturdays, which is an easier commitment for us at this point, as opposed to the city leagues that require three days a week.
Miles' practices are more about learning fundamentals of the game, no games, just drills.
Derek coached one week when their coach was out of town. Miles thought it was great... especially when Derek (and Cooper) ran lines with the team.
After Miles' practice, we headed directly to Cooper's game.
They had a few practices and then started playing games every Saturday.
Owen's naptime was coming quickly...
But we were determined to watch the whole game.
Miles kept scooting himself closer and closer to the team's bench seats... in hopes that the coach would mistake him for a player! :) He is on the Hornets, but not the same age group. ha. (All the teams are NBA team names)
And... Owen didn't make it to the end of the game, it was too much for him.
