Monday Mourning

Monday morning came quickly... especially for those who were up until the middle of the night, for the third night in a row.   Mason thought it came much too soon too, since it was time to leave.  He cried some big, sweet tears at the news.

Owen wasn't happy about it either.  He whined, cried and refused to wave goodbye from the window.   He found a pair of mittens to wear that sidetracked him from his feelings.

I didn't think he'd be able to manage binkies while wearing the mittens, but he proved me wrong.

Then it was on with the usual Monday business.  With a few reminders (earplugs in the washing machine) of the fun weekend.

We're so thankful Debbie came to hold down the fort while we had our fun!

Derek's sister, Mikiah, drove to Peoria on Friday.   She visited friends that moved here from Wichita.  She also came to our Bloomington show, but we didn't get any photos to prove it.  Ha.  Her, Debbie and Mason all rode home together on Monday.
