Cooper and Miles had a day off in October because of parent/teacher conferences. G'ma Pam had been over the day before and left some money for us to get donuts for breakfast!
Owen always has the day at home, but he throughly enjoyed the special treat of donuts!
Since it was a Friday, we headed to the library for story time. This game Miles a chance to pick up the books he'd put on hold. He seriously becoming a book worm and is also obsessed with the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.
We headed to story time then, since it was the week of the world series, did a craft related to baseball.
They were supposed to use the string to stitch up their mitt.
Owen took off and played with his string.
There was also a "Where's Waldo" event going on. Waldo and his belongings were hidden all around the library.
We searched and found them all!
Then headed home to get some things done around the house since we hosted Life Group that night.

Derek and I attended parent teacher conferences earlier in the week. Our boys are doing great! They're adjusting emotionally and doing well academically. Math has the most learning curve since they've never done common core math before. But things are starting to click and their teachers are both doing an excellent job working with to get them introduced to all the terminology and strategy. Most importantly, both boys' teachers expressed how kind my boys are. They work well with anyone and any in any group. I'm so proud of them for stepping into this new adventure and doing their best in everything!
