Cooper and Miles have had a few days off school in the last month. Columbus Day was one of them. It was a beautiful day, so we spent a little time in the morning doing some yard work.
Which mostly meant these guys were on the lookout for creatures. They found a praying mantis...
We had some coupons for Subway, one of the boys' very favorite things. So we decided to get lunch and that the best place to eat subs, was at the park!
Then we played a little, of course.
But there was a pond, so Miles looked for creatures, of course.
Owen spent some time on the swings.
While the big boys played near the water trying to catch frogs or lure the fish closer.
We stopped at Aldi after the park to grab a few things.
...we ended up grabbing pumpkins too.
My desire to take a photo got entertaining quickly...
Owen tried to copy his brother and dropped his.

Owen ended up chasing his pumpkin as it rolled away!
It stopped at my feet so he could recover it. Ha.
We enjoyed some extra time with all the boys home. Chores, games, reading and more.
