Miles woke up on his birthday and was impressed with the decorations in the hallway.
Owen woke up too and was even more impressed!
The balloons entertained them for quite a while.
Soon Miles decided to get dressed and put on this orange hat.
Over the weekend, Papa had shown him this video:
He knew Derek had an orange hat and couldn't wait to give it a try! He put it on and went to sit under the neighbor's hummingbird feeder.
Then the other neighbor's feeder...
Back inside, Derek helped out with frosting the cake.
He could be heard saying, "I watch cake videos, I can do this.".
Not much later, he could also be heard saying, "It looks easier in the videos."!! 😂
We also wrapped and prepped gifts for the annual scavenger hunt!
