Owen woke up and went to find G'ma & Papa for some morning snuggles.
Once everyone was awake we went downstairs for breakfast.
It's the only photo I took of this, sorry, Mom! :)
Which ended with the boys running around the courtyard in their pajamas.
And, of course, collecting bugs.
Derek took them all swimming after breakfast.
They stayed there for quite a while... long enough for me to put some color on mom's hair, ha.
And long enough that I was worried Miles would go to the wedding with goggle rings around his eyes!
We tried unsuccessfully to get Owen to nap.
And Dad had time to walk across the street to check out the Platte River and make friends with the local golfers.
Just before I started to get myself ready, one of my closest childhood friends messaged because she saw that we were in North Platte. Her and her daughter were headed up there from Wauneta to do some shopping... so even though we only had a few minutes, they stopped by our hotel for a quick hug and hello! What a fun surprise!
Dad had gone to grab some lunch... my request 😋 RUNZA.
Because when in Nebraska, you must eat a runza. :)
So we had a quick floor picnic before we finished getting ready for the wedding.
