Adjusting

Most days, Owen is pretty disgruntled about not getting to go to school with "the boys".

Once in a while he gets to go along if I need to do the morning drop off.

But he still ends up disgruntled when he has to make the trip back home with me.

Good thing he's easily distracted! 😊

During the first full week of school, we participated in our first Kellar PTO restaurant fund raiser.  

After school, we went for ice cream at Coney's.

Derek met us there to share the fun.

Ice cream makes them feel a bit better after a long day.  ha.

They talked us into french fries too...  since they're always STARVING after school.

Owen and I passed the rest of the school week with grocery shopping...

And he's always excited when we go to the school early at pick up time and he can play!

Cooper had a happy Friday when he won a cylinder Rubik's cube at school.

And with that they made it to the end of their first FULL week of public school!

Not without it's bumps, but we're learning to maneuver them and adjust!
