Independence Day in Iowa 2017 - Breakfast and Tractors

We all got up and around on Independence Day and stopped in the garage before heading to town.  Miles and Owen sat in G'pa Don's slingshot for a few minutes...

Since the rest of us were untangling beads G'pa and Vicki planned to throw during the parade.

Once we'd defeated all the knots and tangles, we headed into town for the omelette breakfast.  We always enjoy it.  Choosing filling for an omelette and having someone else cook it is my personal favorite. :)

And eating it, or course!

Cooper and Miles got through the line first and picked seats at tables far away from anyone.

Hey!  What are you doing over there?

We did talk them into joining us.

We finished up and headed out.

Since G'pa Gordie and Ryan had already started out for town with their tractors.

Derek and Dale were each going to drive a tractor in the parade, so we headed to get them.

The boys sat on as many tractors as they could manage to climb on while in the barn.

Cooper and Owen sat on the one Daddy was going to drive.

Owen doesn't remember doing this before... he loved it!

Cooper rode with G'pa Dale, Miles rode with Daddy back to town...

The rest of us would soon get in the van and catch up in time for the parade!
