"One More Good Snow"

As winter comes to a close, but the temperatures are still cold, I can't help but wish for 'one more good snow' before spring. If it's cold, there might as well be snow, right?  The second week of February, we got "one more"!

  (We also woke up to a dusting this past Saturday, after we'd had spring like temps the previous week.)

I especially like the snow when I can stay inside and watch it falling from over the top of my cup of coffee. :)

But, by the next day, my kiddos were ready to go make some tracks!  So we bundled up...

And headed out to explore. I set Owen down and turned around to grab his sled. By the time I'd grabbed it, he was long gone and headed after his brothers.

He loved making tracks around the yard.

And he maneuvered it surprisingly well, except for a couple times.

Overall, he loved the (s)'no' and would have stayed out all day.

The big boys probably would have too.  But it was cold.  So cold that my phone shut down when I had it out to take pictures.

But...
