Owen was so.much.help in the days leading up to our Christmas trip to Kansas. Wrapping gifts is a breeze with him around, can you tell?
He was most conveniently occupied with a dog toy before I wrapped it.
But irritated by the wrapping after. He learned to say, "Bella" during this process though. It just sounds more like "Blah".
We managed to have all preparations in order for a road trip. Only when I woke up early the morning of departure date... I could hear water running that seemed odd. Derek checked it out and it was the outside faucet leaking! He tried a few tricks and after a temporary fix and turning the water off... we were finally ready to go!
We brought along fruitcakes for road trip snacks. :)
Even after our late start, we made great time, and by dinner we were at Derek's parents house! Pizza for dinner and ice cream for dessert is a good way to start off Christmas at Grandma's house.
