You might have guessed, but we did not work out our technical difficulties 'over the weekend'. Or over the next weekend. But I did work out a temporary work-around.
So, to catch up a little. We enjoyed the annual AWANA fall hayride and bonfire. When we arrived, Owen wanted to check out the tractor right away.
But first things first, we roasted and ate hot dogs. Yes, there is a hot dog under my condiments, I promise.
Owen ate mostly beans out of the chili and crackers.
Cooper and Miles sipped hot cocoa.
Then it was finally time to load up on the wagon.
I stayed behind, but all the boys found a seat.
And got situated for the ride.
Derek even took some selfies for me. :)
A short ride through the corn fields and they were back.
Ready to have more fun, like jump in the bounce house.
Before it was all over, the marshmallows had a turn over the fire.
And s'mores were consumed.
Then we headed on our way, bellies full and everyone happy.
