Cooper's "Fall Ball" baseball season started.
It's a good reason to be outside...
And play in the dirt.
(Owen is getting good at climbing up into chairs too!)
We find other outside entertainment and other dirt around our house.
As summer comes to a close, we're trying to take advantage of the weather. And let some creatures we'd had in captivity be set 'free and in the wild'. Miles had a slug in a jar for at least a month, feeding it and keeping it alive, then at some point added a friend. One day, he saw babies in the jar too!! That's when I said it was time for them to live in the wild. This boy... whew.
The same day, they didn't understand why I wouldn't let them keep this snake! Miles even went and found a 'big enough jar'. No way!
There is a lot to see outside.
Owen has now started crying anytime anyone goes out the door without him. He loves to wander the yard.
And ride his bike.
And play in the sandbox.
All the boys like to swing.
And draw (emojis) with sidewalk chalk. Yes, Owen eats most of his.
Cooper drew clouds in the sky.
Miles wrote the whole alphabet.
It was good practice... because that was the last day before school started.
