Dunkin'

I like to try and keep this blog about our lives.  Our real lives.  Maybe sometime I should post a video of the boys fighting just to accomplish that...  but for now, the following post contains TMI for some of you, I'm sure. :)

We recently had a situation with our plumbing causing there to be a small flood in our laundry room.

Derek had to turn off the water that evening and planned to call a plumber in the morning.
So... we rigged this up in the meantime.   Ha ha ha ha ha!

No one actually ended up using it!

Mostly because Miles tried and it stressed him out too much to be able to accomplish the goal.  So, when Derek left for work, I loaded up the boys and ran to Dunkin' Donuts.  Complete with a working restroom, donuts, coffee and patio seating.

It's hard to hear the music that was playing over the speakers but Owen was jamming to it the whole time he munched on his donut.  It brightened our mood for sure.

Roto-Rooter got to the house and unclogged our issue in the short time we were gone.  And thanks to a coupon, the dozen donuts only cost $5.  And, and... our Dunkin' has any size hot coffee for $.99 on Monday until noon.  Large, please!  The total of my bill was only $5.99+tax.  Too bad Roto-Rooter cost us a tad bit more.

No actual coffee was consumed by a baby in the making of this post.
