The Wrap Up

As Owen's birthday party wrapped up, there was a huge water balloon fight in the backyard.

Once things completely wrapped up, we headed back to Derek's parent's house.  But the power was out due to a fire on a power pole nearby.  So while Grandpa Dale grilled dinner...

There was a game of knock-out going on.

Owen played with the battle ax G'ma Debbie gave him for his birthday.

And watched the basketball games from the cool grass.

Then dinner was served on the deck.  Thankfully the power came back on about bedtime, meaning the air conditioning was back.

Inside, Owen opened another gift from G'ma and G'pa.

We went to church with Derek's family.  Then the G'ma provided silly string for a quick battle.  Miles got the worst of it, if you can't tell.

Owen played Duplo with Grandma.

Then we went back over to my parent's house to say our goodbyes there.

I'm not sure why Owen is rejection Alexa's affection here though. ha.

We decided to take one last dip in the pool.

Then back to g'ma Debbie's to go to bed. 

After some glow stick fun. 

We said our goodbyes the next morning and hit the road!
