A while back we had a pretty busy Friday.
It started with the big boys trying on their life jackets in preparation for an evening activity. Can you tell how thrilled Cooper is about having to wear it? ha.
Then we headed to the library. Where Owen can NOT keep his flip flops on his feet.
And one is often left behind.
Next we ran to Aldi, where we only grabbed a few things.
Miles' only responsibly was the blueberries...
{{insert eye roll}}
We went home for lunch and Owen's nap... then back out to get the oil changed.
We got to go down in "the basement" where we saw underneath our car and an explanation of our services.
We also checked out the tools.
And then washed up at the sink used by the mechanics.
Since it was "National Donut Day" we stopped at Dunkin' to kill time until our next event. The deal was that you had to purchase a beverage to get a free donut, but because of my coupons and offers, I actually made a buck on my app during the transaction. (whoop!)
And that iced coffee tasted good while watching Cooper's baseball game.
Owen did just fine relaxing with his water.
Cooper played a good game, Derek helped coach.
Then we rushed to our next event... Life Group at the lake!
We ate hot dogs.
Then Miles was on the boat barely before he'd swallowed his food.
Cooper grabbed his pole and tried to snag a fish. He wasn't very successful though.
Derek didn't waste any time either and caught a handful that evening.
Owen was occupied up near the house, playing with a cup.
Later, Cooper went out on the boat where he finally caught a fish.
Miles threw a line in from the dock but didn't catch anything.
So he decided to roast a marshmallow and enjoy a s'more.
There was other catching to be done too... like frogs.
And minnows. This is where Miles excels!
We finished up the evening around the fire. It was a good day!
