The annual AWANA closing program included all the kids gathering on the stage.
To sing a few songs for the parents. Miles forgot to spit out his gum, so looked like he was mumbling along. Derek and I were trying to figure out if he didn't know any of the words, then realized he was just singing around his gum!
Owen didn't know the difference, he was impressed with his big brothers and their performance. :)
Miles completed his first year/book of Sparks, so he got an award for that accomplishment.
Before hand, Cooper kept telling me he would be getting a big award (apparently a plaque) for completing his third book and ending his time in Sparks. I told him I wasn't sure and not to plan on it... so I had to chuckle a little when his teacher held up the plague he was being awarded and it was much bigger than I'd even imagined!
Cooper was very excited and super impressed with his award. It's now hanging over his bed. :)
We ended the fun enjoying cookies...
And ice cream sandwiches!
