St Louis Science Center

While looking for a family activity in St Louis (besides tour the Arch), a friend suggested the Science Center.  So after Derek took the boys for a quick morning swim, we checked out of our hotel and headed over to check it out.

We walked in and saw the dinosaurs.  So this place was immediately a hit!

Then we headed off to see what else we could find.

There were so many fun experiments and hands on displays.

Miles walked up on Derek and Cooper at this mirror and asked, "Does that hurt?"!

Once he understood what was happening, he gave it a try too.

Cooper and Miles pretty much only sat still long enough to play a round of "Mind Ball".

Owen checked out the dinosaurs close up...

While the big boys did some fossil hunting.

They all 'experienced' an earth quake.

Then the big boys built cars.

Owen and I left the big guys to run more circles...

And went to find the Mother's Nursing room for a much needed break.

The last thing we did was check out the traffic on the highway that part of the Science Center is built over the top of.

And look down through the floor at passing cars.  This one kind of freaked me out a little.  It was safe but just gave me a weird feeling to see the cars flying by under there.

There was so much to do, we could have spent more time and would like to go back again.  And since it's free admission, we most definitely will!
