Cooper is trying out Cub Scouts this year.
His friend, Ethan, is in his "Den" and the "Pack" meets at the school Ethan attends.
Cooper started earning patches right away.
They have a small ceremony when awards are handed out.
Some awards are patches to be sewn onto his uniform.
Some are metal and slide onto the uniform belt.
Patches are earned through activities, assignments and events.
They went to the air force base...
...and passed out popcorn to the servicemen and women.
Which was part of the air force Christmas party.
The boys also do events just for fun, like attend a hockey game.
Daddy got to go along.
Which was perfect...
then he could take a picture of the boys when they were shown on the jumbo-tron! :)
