Like we do every year, we celebrated Christmas with our little family before we went to Wichita for the real thing. We set a date (always the Saturday before we go out of town) and counted down the days. Owen didn't know he should be excited... but was up first and very early that day! So we played and waited for his brothers to wake up.
Once everyone was awake, Derek read the Christmas story from his Bible.
Then we passed out the stockings.
And after Mommy got her photo, they dug in!
While watching the fun, I enjoyed my coffee with a cinnamon roll.
Owen liked the paper...
But he did also realize there were fun things inside!
The big boys already know there are fun things inside.
Some of Owen's were slightly necessity rather than fun.
That's just part of being six months old and not being able to send Santa your own list. :)
Owen also had a little help with some of his gifts.
(While Miles helped himself to a cinnamon roll)
Owen appreciated Cooper's help.
He kinda likes his big brothers.
But enough is enough. Ha. He was up early, remember?
Christmas can be overwhelming.
For all involved!
