Kansas Christmas - Part 2

Derek's Dad worked on Christmas Day.  So we took Christmas to the Hutchinson Municipal Airport!

We headed up to the tower and said Hello.

And the boys got their hands on every single thing Grandpa said was okay to touch.

Mason got in on the fun too.

Though Miles might need some equipment training if he ever wants an actual career in air traffic controlling.

Then we headed back down the stairs.

Where we set up Christmas dinner in a conference room and chowed down.

Pie and all!

There were a few more trips up and down.

We took Dale's food up to him and took turns visiting with him in the tower.

We all converged one more time to say goodbye and take a group photo.

We headed back to the house and waited for Dale to get off work.  Once he was home we opened gifts.

 Or chewed on the paper.

And the bag.

Cooper got the gift he really wanted!!
G'ma and G'pa worked hard to find it too!

There was a lot of fun going on!

And more chewing...  on gifts this time.

We did our adult exchange, which we've started doing "white elephant" style, with good gifts.  I scored a mug, hand soap and a $25 Amazon gift card.  Whoop!  Everyone did a good job this year, there were some great gifts being opened, stolen and eventually kept!
