We stayed with my parents this time, but since Derek's parents only live five minutes away...
There was quality time spent snuggling another Grandma.
And Aunt time with the other side. Aunt Mikiah got the boys a dragon book!
The big boys spent the night with G'ma Debbie a few times while we were in town.
But being at Grandma's didn't get them off the hook... or out of school. A perk of homeschooling is that we were able to take it all with us and keep up with lessons! The boys weren't so sure it was a perk though. :)
They finished up their work in time to play around Papa's pond while they waited for Ethan to get out of school.
Meanwhile, Alexa tried to share her snack with Owen.
And then.... Daddy arrived with his buck!
We really celebrated, this was an answer to prayer since his scheduled hunt was getting cut short to go to his G'ma's funeral. But he got his buck the first day, taking some pressure off so that we could go be with family.
