A group from our church went to "Faith & Family" night at the local minor league ball park and hosted by our local radio station, WCIC.
They cheered on the Peoria Chiefs.
Along with friends.
And ate a hot dog, of course.
Nothing better than a hog dog at a baseball game.
Well, maybe cotton candy?
Cooper got to give the mascot a high-five.
Miles informed me he was too shy.
Meanwhile back at home, Owen had his first FaceTime session.
Hi, Grandma.
Then we went on to bed. We didn't even try to wait up for the guys.
The game the day before was rained out so this night was a double header.
Which meant it went late, so the fireworks started really late.
But they hung around to enjoy them.
It's a pretty good show!
Once the fireworks were done...
There was a Jason Gray concert.
(I wonder if we're related?)
My big guys say they had a great night at the ball field!
