We headed back to Grandma's house after the reunion.
But these guys weren't done being festive!
It was nearly time to head to town for the fireworks.
Grandma snuck in some more snuggles with Owen.
And Miles snuck over and fell asleep on Uncle Bruce's lap.
...while eating Bugles!
I knew he'd be upset if I put him in bed and he missed the fireworks though. So, even though Owen and I stayed at Grandma's, Derek loaded up the boys and went into town. They got there in time for the display to start...
But try as they might, couldn't get Miles to wake up. He slept through the whole thing.
Grand finale and all.
(And it's loud!)
He didn't wake up while being carried back to the car, the drive back and being put in bed. He slept until morning! And wasn't nearly as upset as I though he'd be about missing the show! Whew.
