Derek was off work for a week after Owen's birth. There was one day while he was off that we just felt like the big boys needed some normalcy... so Daddy took them fishing!
The craziness of life caught up with Mile on the way though...
(that and he started running a fever later that night)
But they got out to the lake and started seeing fish!
Cooper, of course, caught the most fish.
Even if they were little.
You may know, these guys just like to fish, even if the fishin's not great.
They had a nice view of the sunset too!
Owen and I stayed home... he doesn't know what he's missing yet. This was the first night he gave me an actual smile! I'm telling you, this was not gas! :) It may have been a 'happy reaction' more than anything, but it was a smile for sure! And he has done it often since.
Owen was awake when the brothers got home so they got to tell him all their fish stories before bed.
