The boys were up and at it on their first morning back home. They were out with Daddy before he left for work... in their pajamas picking up sticks from storms the day before.
Then later in the day, I showed them something I'd purchased while they were gone.
And then opened it and realized part of it had to be inflated. :-/
Cooper gave it a try but wasn't getting very far, so I took over.
Our neighbor came out and asked if we had a pump of some sort and I realized we probably did, but by then, I was pretty much done... and hadn't even passed out yet. :) Next we hooked up the hose and got the water going.
And the boys were ready to give it a try.
There they go!
Again!
And again!
Cooper got the hang of it right away, Miles had more trouble convincing his body to land on his belly.
...and he kept getting distracted by bugs.
For the next couple of days, Cooper had some serious post-slip-n-slide muscles!! His abs hurt anytime he coughed, sat up or laughed... and me taking this photo made him laugh. Ha. It was kind of funny and kind of pathetic. :)
By the weekend, he was all ready to go again!
And since it was the weekend, Derek was there to help inflate it...
Yes, with the compressor. He's so smart.
(Not that I would have tried dragging this thing out of the garage anyway!)
Another fun afternoon enjoying the sun.
