Cooper was invited to his friend, Zach's, birthday party...
at a Peoria Chiefs baseball game!
They arrived an hour before the game and celebrated.
Zach opened gifts.
Then they had hot dogs and cake.
And played some games and jumped in the bounce house.
Zach got to throw out a first pitch before the game started!
Cooper had a great time at the party and getting to know some boys from Zach's baseball team.
(Thanks to Zach's Dad, Eric, for providing me with pictures!)
Meanwhile... we went to our Bass Pro Shop to kill some time and discovered they had an even going on that included catch and release fishing!
Miles was so excited! He also liked that he could see the fish in the 'pond'.
It didn't take long to get one.
He posed with his little bluegill for a picture.
And even though she was hesitant...
He convinced the BPS employee to let him throw it back himself.
Then we went to Steak-n-Shake for dinner...
where we discovered kids ate free that night!
We had Emily, Zach's sister, with us since she didn't want to go to the baseball game party.
And wanted to go to VBS instead. That was the first night of VBS at the church the boys attend AWANA at... so that was where we dropped them off next.
After VBS, we met up with Zach's family and traded Emily for Cooper... then went home to bed.
Whew!
