Easter Sunday

We were out the door bright and early on Easter Sunday.  Derek and I are both involved with the worship team at church, so the weeks that we're both scheduled, we leave the house by 7am for practice.  We did have time to put a ham in the oven before we left though...  and that with the food I'd prepped the day before made a nice Easter lunch when we got home from Church.

And the boys peeled their colored eggs for deviled eggs.

Trey came to church and then ate lunch with us.  They boys shared a chocolate bunny with him since we had three.  (Trey somehow not pictured.)

They enjoyed them for dessert.

And got pretty messy.

Then Miles asked me to itch his nose.  :)

The weather was nice so we decided to go to Jubilee College State Park...

 for an afternoon hike.

Which included scouting for turkeys.

And gathering nasty treasured walnuts.

And trying to sneak them all home.

I let him keep one. (Then found ants all over it later!)

Back home, the boys talked Daddy into joining one of their many living room Easter egg hunts.  He may never get to play again though once they discovered he was grabbing eggs from their baskets so he would have the most!
