Sister Weekend In the City

The next morning we went back to the Ferry Building for breakfast.
Where I talked my sisters into a breakfast sister selfie...

There is an outdoor market there, so we browsed and wandered around.

While enjoying our coffee from breakfast.

It was nice to enjoy the sunshine and produce while Illinois is still a frozen tundra.

I also saw a lot of things you'd never see in Illinois, like fresh oysters for sale.
(Derek would love this!)

Next we headed to see Chinatown.

Where Anna bought is a bubble tea (also known as pearl milk tea or boba milk tea).
It was interesting, but not my favorite.

And saw more interesting things... these fish were dried.

It was a fun morning to enjoy some California sunshine.

Then we grabbed Anna's car from the hotel and hit the streets of San Francisco again.

Where we did a little drive by sight seeing.
Apparently this is the house in the Full House opening credits.

Next we drove down Lombard Street.

The 'crookedest' street in San Francisco.

We drove to the Mission District for lunch at "The Herbivore".
Both of my sisters eat vegan...  and we enjoyed some great vegan food on this trip!

Then we went down the street for (theirs vegan) ice cream!
Anna asked for the 'smallest size available' and the guy gave her this tiny little cone to be funny.
We laughed.  :)

We ended the evening relaxing at Anna's house where we watched a movie.
...and I fell asleep.  Thankfully my sisters don't have the same frame of mind as I do, there are no photos of me sound asleep on the couch while they enjoyed the movie.
