We haven't done it every year, but this year the boys had been begging to carve pumpkins. So after work one evening, Derek ran by Aldi and picked up a couple little pumpkins. :)
Daddy cut the tops out.
And the boys scooped out all the insides.
And posed for pictures.
While watching the Royal's play game six.

Derek let the boys draw faces on their pumpkins.
Then he cut them out for them.
And lit candles inside to watch them glow.
The next night Derek ran out and lit the candles when we were almost home from AWANA, the boys were excited to see them glowing when we pulled in. (Daddy also jumped out from around the house to scare us after I took this picture.)
Cooper talked me into keeping the seeds, we roasted them and he ate most of them himself!
