The post is long overdue:
Derek found out early this summer that he won
a Telly Award for his show, Bowhunter!
Specifically for the "Colorado Elk" episode.
Derek didn't get his own telly statue,
but we went to the office and took at look at the one there.
Derek has now been the (only) editor for Bowhunter for two years and just finished his 52nd episode. As with any job, there are frustrations and tight deadlines, but Derek enjoys his job so much and it's fun to see him thrive. He's a talented editor and I am so proud of him!
And he's pretty proud of his telly... I snapped this as he shined it up for a photo. :)
Yay Derek! We've always known you were a winner, but so cool everyone else knows now too!
