Splashdown

On the subject of things we did before summer officially ended...

We headed to church one Sunday morning.

(It's what all the cool kids do.)

Then after church we had a little car picnic.

In the parking lot of Splashdown!

It was the last day they were open and some friends had tickets they couldn't use.  They offered them to us for free and we gladly accepted.  These boys love swimming!

Because it's a water park, I put my phone away in a locker and enjoyed myself.  Yes, I do that every now and then, Anna. :)  So, since I don't have photos, I stole a few off the internet for blogging purposes.

There was a big slide... We all tried it out since you can ride double.

And a place for kids to climb, slide, soak and be free.

There was a pool area for just swimming and also, my personal favorite, the lazy river. Derek even took the boys to swim and let me lap another time alone.  I loved it.

We were thankful for free tickets and had a great time!
