Derek was scheduled to arrive home on a Tuesday evening. His plane out of Chicago had mechanical issues so it ended up that he got home in the middle of the night. But the boys were so happy to wake up and see that Daddy was home the next morning!
He had to go to work right as they woke up,
but he went with us to VBS that night to shoot some video.
Trey came along to shoot with his camera too.
And... Grandpa Dale showed up while we were there!
He stayed the night with us on his way to control at the OshKosh air show in Wisconsin. He played some games and read books with the boys before bed. Then they had breakfast together before he hit the road in the morning.
All these guys waved to him as he left, then the two older went to work and the two little ones came inside to start our day.
