Cow Appreciation

It fell on a busy day for us, but I couldn't let Chick-Fil-A's Cow Appreciation Day go by unnoticed.

So the boys and I painted some shirts quick...

And I, in my usual no-sew way, pinned some felt ears together...

And after swimming lessons, I put tails on them.

Taped hooves on their feet.

Painted their noses.. with eyeliner.  :)

And took the boys to Chick-Fil-A.

(This was a day we had Ethan with us after swim lessons)

 We went around 2pm instead of right at lunch time,

so the cow costumed person wasn't there anymore... but this was.

We hadn't even ordered yet when we started losing costume elements.

But we made it to the register with three fully dressed cows meaning free food!

I like free. 

We sat down and Ethan wanted the make up wiped off his nose before eating.

So Derek helped him.

Kind of.

Free food tastes good!

Eh, they don't even care if it was free, they all ate all their food and then went to play.

Cow Appreciation Day success!!

I didn't have time for my own costume this year.

Next year, maybe we'll all be eating.
