The middle of June, we played a quick little game of "Will it Fit?" with the new car.
It did! So after Derek got off work, we hit the road and headed toward Wichita!
I had planned to meet my sister there for a week, since she was going for a wedding. We talked Derek into coming for the weekend then taking the train home while we stayed the week.
These boys ride well.
Even when they're not sleeping of playing games,
although that helps!
We left late and drove into the night arriving at my parent's house around 2am.
My sister beat us there the day before, so we woke up to cousins!
Miles was only awake for about fourteen seconds before he went to explore Papa's pond.
It didn't take long for a few cousins to join him.
And when we saw Jonah, we realized these 'twins' unintentionally matched.
The fun started quickly.
And included a 'little' play date that day.
Then we caught a few minutes to get reacquainted with Grandma's neighborhood pool.
Miles didn't remember the pond or pool and we realized it's been two years since we visited in the summer! We also had to reintroduce him to cousins... he kept calling them the wrong name, if he could remember a name at all. After those technicalities out of the way, we settled in for a fun week!
