Saturday was Cooper's last day of basketball.
Derek took the good camera to get a little footage of the last day. I don' think he intentionally wore his "tough guy" look with his Matthews Archery Camo hat, Sturgis Bike Week Shirt and as always, his growing beard... but it amused me and made me wonder if he worried the other parents.
Something else that amused me every week was what cute little outfit Ruby wore.
Patterned leggings under a skirt was her go to.
And I'm always amused by watching Cooper stick his tongue out when he plays.
Had they been calling fouls, Cooper would have fouled out for sure!
Something to work on with him...
Along with catching...
And throwing...
And keeping his eyes open when the ball is headed his way...
They didn't call traveling or double dribbling either and the kids were told to pass the ball three times before they took a shot. It was fun watching them learn and work together. Video of the fun:
At the end they had their last devotion time.
And were each given a medal.
Cooper called his a "Gold Medal".
And he also got this one for saying all his memory verses.
He let Miles wear that one around.
While he kept this one on all day.
Miles got to shoot a few times before we left.
And Daddy showed off a little.
And with that Cooper's first basketball season was complete!
