The day after the alumni game, WAHAA (Wichita Area Homeschool Athletic Association) held a 20 year anniversary party. Derek was on the very first Jr High basketball team 20 years ago:

There was a lot of time for mingling.
And to eat pizza with old friends.
...lots of pizza.
And cake.
...and lots of cupcakes.
Which Miles thought were very yummy.
Derek's Dad was the MC. And did a few 'fun fact' announcements every little bit.
And highlighted groups/teams or people/teams that won awards.
These are the guys that showed up from the original team.
We also heard just a little from WAHAA's founder, Kenny.
Who is also my Sister-in-law, Candice's, Dad.
Kenny also joined a circle of his former players and told story after story.
Some of which may have been slightly exaggerated or mostly made up. :)

There was random fun like line dancing.

And my kids found other kids to play with.
Or just run wild with.
There were only a few girls from my 'era', but it was fun to catch up.
And reminisce about old times.
(I'm #35... yikes.)
