Stella

While in Iowa, we went over to Derek's Uncle Darrin

and Aunt Kelley's house to meet one of his teenage cousin's pets.

Stella the hedgehog. 

The boys had fun petting her if they were careful.

They got very lightly poked a time or two.

They weren't allowed to pick her up since a hedgehog could impale itself with it's own spikes if dropped.

We had fun meeting Stella, although the boys would have rather called her "Sonic"!
