Just like we do every year around this time...
We headed over to our local Bass Pro Shop to see Santa.
I've never lead my kids to believe Santa is or isn't real. They've come to their own conclusions know where the stuff really comes from. :) It's just a fun thing to go sit on Santa's lap and tell him what they want for Christmas.
Miles was chatting a million miles a minute to the big guy.
And there wasn't much of a line so we weren't hurried along.
But the boys didn't linger too long since there were other fun thing awaiting.
We like the wild animal carousel.
Yep...
(In Derek's defense, an adult had to ride with anyone under 48 inches which included Miles)
And the Red Ryder BB-Guns got a little more attention because the boys recognized the name from "The Christmas Story".
"You'll Shoot Your Eye Out"?
Once they'd both done a little target practice...
Cooper wanted to go drive the race cars... which we discovered were broken.
So we settled for a craft.
It looks like some effort, but they have peel and stick pieces and then a little glue and...
DONE, and owl ornament!
About that time a couple boys were messing with the race cars and got them working.
Much to Cooper's delight.
Another round of target practice.
With bows this time.
And we finished up by saying hello to Bonnie Blue.
Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas!
