It's been a pretty non-news-worthy week. Which I'm not complaining about at all. We've had some illness, which isn't fun, but laying low and not having a lot going on is nice. So this post is full of random-ness that doesn't fit anywhere else. And that you may have already seen if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook...
Being sick as a homeschooler has pros and cons: You don't have to miss and day. But you don't get a sick day. Either way, sometimes it's fun to put on 'fancy' shoes and wear them to school... just for fun.
And speaking of school, Cooper is reading simple words pretty well now.
And Cooper likes to teach Miles too... Which I think will work out great for me. I'll just teach Cooper and he'll teach Miles everything he knows. :)
Miles is an eager student. His equipment just malfunctions sometimes. On this morning, he asked me for a different pencil four times saying, "This one isn't writing my name right.".
When they're not doing school, Cooper entertains himself while Miles naps. Sometimes with Legos.
But he they make a good team when they're both awake.
On this day their shirts together made one whole VeggieTale.
And we're still singing, "What Does the Fox Say" way, way, way too often. We came across these hats and gloves G'ma Debbie gave the boys last year and they broke out into song.
And I'll leave you with Miles' idea of thrift shopping.
He really digs for a good deal...
