Miles Celebration Dinner

On Miles Birthday, Cooper and I prepared for a celebration while Miles napped. 

Preparing is pretty yummy.

We got the cake task complete.

And moved on to wrapping gifts.

After Miles woke up and Derek got home, we headed to dinner.  At the 50's Diner.  When we asked Miles what he wanted for dinner or where he wanted to eat, he told us, "The place with Elvis on the wall and you eat waffles.".  Derek had taken the boys for breakfast there while I was at the Women of Faith Conference.  We got a kick out of it... so that's where we went!

We went inside and found Elvis for a photo op.

Next we looked over the menu and decided what to eat.

Miles didn't order waffles, he wanted a hamburger and fries.

We mentioned it was Miles birthday and before we left the whole staff came out and sang happy birthday to Miles and brought him a milkshake!  It really embarrassed Miles...

He got over it quickly though and ate the cherry right off the top.

And then really enjoyed the shake.

We had a great time.  Good choice, Miles!  :)
