On Saturday we surprised the boys by loading them up in the car.
First we grabbed some breakfast:
And ate it on the way to the movie theater.
(for a 10am showing)
Daddy bought tickets... with a gift card we've been hanging onto.
To see "The Croods" in 3D!
We got our 3D glasses.
Checked out the temporary tattoos that came with them...
And went to find our seats.
We got settled and put our 3D glasses on.
Only Miles wasn't so sure about this 3D thing...
He watched part of the movie without the glasses.
Which made the movie look weird and blurry.
So he did watch with them on once in a while.
But decided they were more fun to wear on the ride home.
He'd kind of had it by the time I wanted a family photo!
It was also nap time by then. We had a fun outing and enjoyed the movie.
