Train

After our home inspection, Derek came back to KC on the

AmTrak to fix a few things the buyer requested in the house.

He got on in Galesburg, IL around 5:30pm

Friday night and was in Kansas City by 10pm.

He worked around the house Saturday and early Sunday morning we

took him back to Union Station to catch the train back to Illinois.

Only when we got there at 7am, we found out that his train was delayed two hours.

So we wandered around a little.

We went over to Crown Center and found this gentleman made entirely of Legos.

We checked out the train outside of Fritz's.

Then we went back to Union Station and found the model train exhibit.

Where the boys watched the trains for quite a while.

And played with some too.

And then we sent Derek on his way.

We miss you, Daddy!

The closing on our house has been moved to May 25th.  So moving day is this weekend!

We'll all be living in Peoria VERY soon!
