Derek came home (to Kansas City - the word "home" is pretty relative right now) for a weekend. It fell over the day the buyer had our house inspected so we had to be out for the morning. We went out for breakfast and then spent some time at the Bass Pro Shop. There were race cars there that day.
The boys practiced at the play shooting range.
And we also finally figured out Miles was saying,
"Cock-a-doodle-doo" as he pointed at each turkey!
Then we met up with my Aunt Sarah and Uncle Jay and family who were in
town for the Nazarene MAX competition. It was fun to see them for a little while.
And although it went fast, it was great to be together again for the weekend!
We're ready to be moved and through this transition of being apart.
