Sweet Treat

We made fall cookies this week.

Cooper's favorite part:

That was about the time Miles woke up from his nap and got the spot on the counter.
(Cooper is into making funny faces for pictures)

Miles spent the rest of the time licking the bowl.  And trying to get Cooper to join him.

Once we got the cookies baked and cooled, we moved onto the fun part.  Frosting!

I flopped some of them since I halved the recipe to start with and then decided to make half chocolate (if you haven't tried this, DO IT!  Or don't... they're addicting!) and split the dough before I added the flour.  Ha... it was a little bit of chaos, but they do taste YUMMY.  Some were just too thin and didn't hold their shape.

I may or may not have let Cooper consume one immediately
following breakfast the next morning.

And then have another over hot chocolate with a friend.
(hot tea for Cooper, he prefers it.  Weirdo.)

(Tyler always picked hot tea too. But he also would have asked for carrot sticks instead of cookies. Weirdo is right)
