Delayed Date

Back in July I purchased a Living Social deal for a meal at Skies Restaurant.

When I bought it our plan was to use it for a date night in September for our anniversary.

We finally got around to using it this weekend!  That round part on top of the Hyatt Hotel is Skies, it rotates for a full view of the city while you dine.

It's actually just the floor that spins.  So the windows stay put and the artwork on the opposite wall does too. The center of the room with the hostess stand and kitchen don't move.  It takes approximately an hour and a half to make a full rotation so you can hardly tell you're moving.

You get a nice view while you're dining...on crab cakes, filet mignon and sea bass for us.

We had a nice time... Happy nine years to us.  :)

My cousin, Ashley, watched our boys for us and they all did great.
