We made our annual trek to Iowa for Independence Day.
Derek found a gentleman selling smoked ribs roadside...
it made the trip a little yummier.
We arrived right as a storm hit and the power went out. We stayed in Derek's Grandparent's camper and when we came out in the morning we found a limb had fallen - thankfully the OTHER way! The rest of our stay was nice and peaceful with no storms. Last year our celebrations got rained out, so that is great news!
So we settled in to have some fun on the farm.
